I don't know why, this thing happened to me since I was a young kid. I could not focus on a single thing of what I am working on.

Remember my last post, I posted about myself doing online marketing I lost about RM100 without earning a single cent. I changed direction to do other things. Finally, after reading a book "Turn your hobbies into money making machine" I pretty much realized that there are some potential in me that I can bring it out and turn it into money making machine. It is all about hobbies and interest, do thing that you love and you know best. I have passion in programming, therefore why not give it a hit.

My current project, is a central database, a client-server system harnessing the power of .Net architecture, that is Visual C# Express (free version of course) and MySQL. I chose MySQL is because if I were to use the SQL server Express (the free version) I am afraid that there will be a lot of restrictions especially the capacity and the concurrent usage issues. Therefore, I switched to MySQL.

For the designing, apart from manual sketching of the database relationship, I came across one wonderful software which I can use for brainstorming. It is called XMind.

Now, since I am short of knowledge about programming database with C#, I need to find a book to be my company. Googling for that I found Professional C# 2008 which I think suits best for the job. There are some chapters talking about database,and Linq. Linq is pretty much about simplifying SQL query in order to work with C# code. Buy it online! It needs to be on softcopy, so that it is easier to search rather than flipping the indexes and glossary.

Apparently, this database system has started about a year ago. It went to a halt for quite sometime due to my IT support work. I used PHP before but I think my current passion now is C#, so this project can sharpen up my skills in database programming in C#.

After leaving it auto-pilot raking money online. I can see that this campaign is not for me. It does not fit my interest.

Yes, it looks not much competition for organic gardening keyword. But still I can't break the first page barrier to display my ad. I can see clicks which bring visitor to the landing page but nobody bother to order my advertised product. Perhaps it is not really appealing or perhaps wrong timing.

There is zero order form impression. Which means nobody interested of buying.

I want to jump to a conclusion now. Stop promoting this and find other popular products or maybe since I read an article saying there is other means of making money online, which looks to me ideal to my interest. Hmmm..... could be this is the way I am looking for,for the past few years. I need to embark on this once and for all

I gotta stop myself getting too glued to PES2011. It is nothing beneficial to me, health and financially. I need to find my way back to making money online.

Yesterday, out of the blue...i looked back to my Adwords campaign. Which I started about 2 months ago. I was stuck because first I lost my Google promotional voucher, second thing was my wallet was stolen and all my credit and debit cards were gone....this is my word to the thief..."OTAK UDANG punya orang. tak dak keje lain ke?" translation "SHRIMP PASTE dude... don't you have any other things to do" if you want better translation you can use Google Translate. funnier translation...hahaha

I started to look on what keyword people around the world are looking. I have one keyword on my mind which is "organic fertilizer" because of I have one packet of the worm decomposed organic fertilizer which I want to sell online. So I looked on this keyword using Adwords Keyword Tool. I found a lot of matches and recommendations from Google as well. Then I settled for organic farming because it has searching volume around the globe more than 3000.

I went to Clickbank and look for product which best matches the keyword. And found "Organic Gardening System". It has good sales turnover and not really big competitions. This ebook is actually teach us how to start planting organic vegetables for our daily consumptions. Organic which means free of hazardous chemical used for fertilizing the plant. Then I posted it to Adwords and pay RM40 for the first time huhuhu. After two days, this is my ad performance

The silver lining is that we can just see how many traffic goes to our landing page that's all. But the important thing is whether the click converts to income. that is the real problem now. currently no click is converted to sales yet. God willing..insyaallah it will turn one day. Very soon. finally I found my way back to making money online.
